This man has proved that instead of protecting the public he finds it amusing to deliberately put someone in danger and therefore should not be a policeman any longer. I do not feel safe knowing there are police with bad intentions.

Make this officer an example and hold accountable for his actions. Place some semblance of respect back into the police force and get rid of corrupt officers.

I recently found out that my ex husband has (illegally) found out my new address. Why would he be concerned about doing this, if a Senior Constable gets away with it?

How can women go to the police for help escaping family violence knowing that a police officer will face no real consequences for revealing her where abouts to her abuser and placing her in danger? A police officer, of all people, should know that giving that information to the perpetrator could well result in the woman being murdered.

Serious breach of confidentiality.
This man obviously finds 'mateship' more binding than law, disturbing trait in an officer of the law. Dismissal is the only option in this case.

Having worked at the coal face of domestic violence, managing domestically violent offenders on parole and other community based sentences, and knowing the terror and paranoia a victim can experience when they believe their attacker is near, let alone the actual likelihood of violence they would be subject to should the attackers find them , I'm gobsmacked this constable was not held accountable for his callous disregard of the victim... not only should he lose his job, he should be charged with engandering the life of the victim by grossly misusing highly classified departmental records.

Appalling behaviour from a police officer that's meant to protect and serve, imagine if it was your mother or sister or any of your family put in that position of danger by such a scumbag. He needs to be sacked

Thete is no place in the police force for this kind of scum...he puts his mate first before the welfare of the abused victim, the police force has to restore the faith in the public...and if this man (crim) gets off leniently...then by crikey we the people will fight back...if can't rely upon the police when our lives are threatened....then who....the officer does not have the ethics or morals to uphold the sanctions of the law. Spoken by the people...whose lives matter.
