Police have a duty to serve and protect. Not hand out details of victims to their attacker. What if it did end in murder ?

if I stole 5 cents from my job I would be sacked. He has breached his oath and violated her privacy.

This man is supposed to protect our community but he has put a woman's life in danger and laughed and joked about it, he needs to be stood down and legally punished!

Typical of so many! The culture of individual stations also plays a big part. When you finally find an officer who is willing to help the victim they get overruled by senior officers. My grandchildren have been told about "Daddy's friend in the police station" to keep them in fear for their mother by the father. Politicians instigate the laws but it is the police who are supposed to carry out the actions to uphold such laws. Sorry, but he needs to be sacked, charged and penalised big time!!

It's about time the police took domestic violence seriously !

Put this family at great risk and he is allowed to still work with the public. So much for DV being taken seriously

Does someone else have to die before this kind of thing stops? I know I will lose more respect for the police profession over these kinds of actions. Police ethics tribunal should be investigating this!

Sack him immediately!!! What other corrupt activities has the officer been up to? Domestic Violence is not a joke and shouldn't be treated as.

Police are suppose to protect and serve , not put your life in danger and laugh about it. Disgusting behaviour when theirs Police officers who do the right thing.
