This man should be fired as he misuses his position of trust/power. He violated the trust of the victim and the people.

He should not only be sacked he should be charged as he was instigating domestic violence.
He easily could have killed 3 people and he a supposed policeman sworn to protect people.

Two issues here, one confidential information being given out by a member of the Police Service out putting a victim in potential danger. I would not think this is an acceptable community standard.
The second issue is the accessing of confidential information on the police computer which was used for an illegal purpose? That in itself is a very serious issue. Another side issue you would have to ask yourself is what is the ongoing history of the officer concerned is this some sort of pattern? I would think his credibility to be a police officer is under a cloud. Lots of questions but very little feedback is given to the community that pay his and the wages of the hierarchy within the QPS. Lets not crucify a police officer for doing his job and doing something in error but lets not turn a blind eye to obvious breaches of conduct and the law.

This man disgusts me, well he is not a man, he is a grub & doesn't deserve the tag Man. Hope something can be done to him & his Police Commissioner that has backed him & didn't sack him. Not good enough MARK RYAN

This police officer and the commissioner need to be stood down..the police officer needs jail time...anyone else would get it...and the Commissioner who said "no further action would be taken" even though he is on the White Ribbon Day board..should hang his head in shame...where is this poor woman and children s'posed to go now ? Where is it safe for her to hide from a cop who has friends that will protect him ? And a violent ex that now nows her moves because of this officers actions. Tell me..what other person disrespects a court order involving the safety of a woman and nothing happens to them ?? No one..our legal system is a joke...and those that work under this know it and abuse the laws willy nilly.

We are disgusted over Constable Neil Punchard for giving out private information to a Domestic Violence person. Also for Mark Ryan for not taking any action against him.

Violence, intimidation and predation against women is disgraceful to have a Police Officer support and aid this violence is reprehensible. Not only should he be sacked, he should be charged.
