In light of the repression of freedom of speech exhibited by the authorities in Russia over the expression of opinion of the punk group Pussy Riot, we, the undersigned, think that the best course of action by Russia to prove to the world that they are prepared to accept the basic principles of the Eurovision Song Contest, is to send Pussy Riot to the Eurovision Song Contest as the Russian representatives for 2013 in Malmo, Sweden, in May 2013. Otherwise, Russia should withdraw from the Contest forthwith, as they are quite clearly opposed to the fundamental principles of politics not interfering with the ethic purpose behind the Eurovision Song Contest!
