I am praying and strongly supporting SB 424 as I seek freedom for my son. Its very difficult for an individual to first loose a child to a misdiagnosed illness and then get sentenced to life in prison without a chance of parole.
So as we all seek forgiveness from God and we are taught to forgive, it would be nice for mankind in this region to enact forgiveness by passing SB 424 in order to free individuals like my son.

I believe that some mistakes or premeditated and others are caused unintentionally through human error. Not everyone deserves the maximum penalty because of a mistake, accidental error, or being falsely accused. I believe that we should make assessments on case to case accusations and convictions. Revaluation Through family back grounds, work ethics, repeated offenses, education, and counseling. Many deserve a second chance in life that was taken from them because of human error or being falsely accused. I have a friend thst was a victim of the system and was wrongly convicted and sentenced to life in prison. Im signing this petition today because I believe in the opportunity to rehabilitate and be given a second chance on case to case basis. Thanks, Alvin

no man or woman under the age of 25 should spend life with out pardon or parole or a second chance, depending the crime. the brain is not full developed til then, and for someone who has never done drugs to see the affect of what drugs do to a person should not judge til you read up on what that drug does to the person or walk in those shoes. 30 years is long enough. GOD KNOWS YOU HAVE HAD A SECOND CHANCE AT SOMETHING..... PASS THIS BILL
