It's time Louisiana stepped out of the stone age. Many, not all, off these gentlemen deserve a second chance. What if it was your child, best friend or family member. What would you do?

It is time to let a bunch of people out. Long sentences and life sentences are not always the solution. If a person is willing to change then give them a chance. Rehabilitation should be out focus not punishment.

I am signing this in honor of my grandson Barry Mathis Pascual who was put in prison when he was only 15..He has been there half his life. Its time for him to be released.. A grieving grandmother

My son has been in Angola serving Life and 85 years. Due to efforts of Scott Gardner and former DA Reed. Pray this will be true. Min

I have a nephew incarcerated. At AngolaState prison. He was sentenced to 40 years with no parole for a mistake that he is very remorseful about. It saddens me to think that he has no parole for 40 years and cannot see his daughter until she is 18. Louisiana has the worst prison reform than anybody in The United States. Some of these inmates deserve a second chance. Praying and hoping that my nephew will be one to get that second chance.

This is good, not only lifers but anyone who incurs a 40 years sentence with no parole. People deserve a second chance!!!

Is the right thing to do. Most first offenders were young and have matured and can be productive citizens. This would ALLOW them a CHANCE for an out date. They are not throwaways.
