Each case needs to be handled on individual basis but after serving 20 years and showing signs of rehabilitation an inmate deserves a chance at a normal life with their families who serve time with them especially the children left to suffer an absent father or mother.

Kendrick is my cousin, a person with a great personality! He's a really nice guy and a dedicated family man. He loved every one. In life we all make mistakes and may implementat wrong decision making during certain circumstances. I feel that a first offender should be offered some type of reconciliation to change their life around. Some people who commit crimes are not all criminals. They just happened to be in a situation that cost them their life and what is most important to them. I haven't seen him in a long time. I think about him often. In the end it's still a sad situation that hurt both parties involved. We should pray for both families regardless of the wrongful and the right! So please read this petition response with consideration of this person life before thus major life changing experience that changed him and everyone else surrounding and affiliated with both parties! I have a member of my family that was young very young and got involved with the wrong crowd and he did something's that were very wrong but I don't believe that he should be locked away for sixty years of his life for something he did as a teenager especially since he's educated himself and matured behind state walls...please give him another chance... T. B
