I completely agree with the statements in this letter to Senator Udall. I hope all other Senators will receive a copy as well. My husband is a veteran of Viet Nam.

The people who ordered these crimes and those who wrote the pseudo-legal documents to justify it must go to jail for life.

As a lifetime member of VVAW, a US citizen and an American living abroad, I urge you to do the right thing. Release the full, uncensored report.

My father was a WW2 vet and I remember his outrage against the Japanese for torturing US soldiers.

Torture is NEVER acceptable as a means to an end. Stand tall and do your part. Even if no one else has the courage to follow you.

If the citizenry cannot know what elected officials are doing on our behalf then we should waste no more time in vigorous, reasoned debate about what these representatives think or how they will act if elected. Rather we should let the brigands clearly take over as we shall have foresworn all control of their actions and policies

Bush brags about authorizing torture in his book. As a veteran, it makes me sad that torture was authorized and our civil rights were taken away by this president. As an American, it makes me sad that we let it happen. As a human, it makes me sad that our new president continues the same practices. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

I believe the main reason for the torture program was to extract false confessions that would supply a false justification for resource theft
