I feel semi autos have thier place hunting large and small game.. There should at least be an option with limited magazine capacity.

I fully support the legalization of semi-auto rifles for hunting in Pennsylvania.

I also am a supporter of the SB 737 bill...we should be able to use semis....let's get up to date like the other states

Absolutely not needed. A safety issue and a slob issue. I say this from firsthand experience hunting in a neighboring state. Semiauto rifles have no place in the Pa deer woods. Just another farce for pgc to kill off even more deer with the indiscriminate spray and pray techniques.

IT WOULD BE NICE TO SHOOT PREDATORS WITH MY AR KEEP IT TO A 5 OR 10 ROUND CLIPS

I have always wanted to hunt groundhogs and small game with a semi-auto .22 long rifle. Never could understand the reasoning behind the prohibition.

Kyle Forsythe

This law is the only reason I haven't purchased a semi auto rifle. I can't justify spending the money on something I can only use at the range. I imagine others feel the same way. How about we help the economy and allow semi automatic hunting?

Rich Pyott jr

We need more hunters, this will only help. Statistics from other states show no increase in unsafe behavior.

dave wolf

I also agree we should be able to use semi auto for coyote and groundhog,

Paul Krick III

Yes they should be allowed for use in Pa. They by law in Pa are long guns .

Thomas Lee Aston

I qualified with a M-16 in the service I liked the gun so much, when I was discharged I purchased an Ar-15. Shot it a few times at targets. The gun sat in the closet for about 20 years. Then I sold it because I could not use it to hunt. I would buy another one if they would legalize them for hunting.

I only hunt deer, so I petition that AR-10's be included as well. It is a safe and accurate 0.308. An excellent deer rifle that I can use in other states.

We the people in pa need to be able to chose wich guns in our safes we want to hunt with. just as our for fathers did. the only reason they didnt use semi rifles was because they wernt invented yet.

I think small cal. semi-automatic (223) rifles should be able to be used in coyote hunting.

Sunday hunting and semi automatic rifles for coyotes should be passed, wish our government listened to the people instead of the money trail
