Randal you are clueless, we need more tools to reduce the deer herd further so the forest isn't destroyed. Don't be so damned selfish! Look for more "moves" to be made soon!

I guess you people wont be satisfied until ALL the deer are dead. Same couple of PFSC environmental idiots pushing all kinds of things to kill off more deer. You people are a joke!

This is all just an attempt by the antideer PFSC faction to gain another tool for herd eradication. Semis legal for DEER is what this is all about. There are well known extremist environmental idiots pushing this one. No thanks.

the hunting rules banning semi auto rifles is archaic and ill logical. You could use a double rifle with has the capability of a much faster follow up shot than any semi in existence. they are just too expensive for the average hunter. In effect the law is saying if you are rich enough you can have what amounts to a semi auto rifle to hunt in pa

I can understand not shooting at a squirrel up in a tree but the last time I checked, deer & hogs don't climb trees.

With the State of Pennsylvania wanting to increase coyote harvest, we should be allowed to employ semi-auto rifles for quick follow-up shots when multiple predators may be in the area.

There is not proof that manually operated versus semi-automatic rifles are safer. Whatever can be purchased in PA should be allowed in hunting.

The object of hunting is to kill an animal, not wounding it. If first shot failed to kill the animal, chances are that other action required before pulling the trigger may cost valuable time in bringing down a wounded animal before it escape out of sight. It's better to be able to put in a 2nd round immediately if the first round failed to dispatched the animal without any other action required.
