Sell the 49ers.
John York took over this team in the late 90's from an owner that allowed the people that knew football to make the decisions about football. John York started making changes right away and started controlling the spending which just made people think he cared more about the money than the team. In 2002 he mismanaged the firing of Steve Mariucci who brought this team from rebuilding to contenders in two years, then allowed an untested GM to make the decision without any checking for the next head coach. After 2004 and the 2-14 year he admitted to making a mistake. He then hired Mike Nolan to lead this team. It looked as though we were heading in the right direction. John York has shown time and time again he doesn't care about this team or its fans and it is time that the Yorks realize he is a place he cannot win and cut his losses. It is time he sells this team to someone that cares about the past and cares about getting this team back there.
