Here is a man that fought for our country did security over seas. Has a disabled child that he has custody of and goes far and beyond for his care and most of all is a law abinding citizen and you want to throw the book at him. When there's people that has no permit for a weapon and get caught and gets slaps on the hand a 2 year bid same with the drug dealers that are taking peoples lives and they ain't as hard on. So now you want to strip this man of his rights no thays no fair or correct at all

The police should go after the criminals, not law abiding citizens. This is a result of politics.

Without reasonable cause, this incident may be a 4th Amendment violation.

I can speak first hand of this young man's character as a soldier, citizen and father. Simeon cared for his country while many walk away from their duty as a US citizen. He dedicated nine years of his life. He cares for his son, Simeon Jr. who faces a very rough future if separated from his Dad. His dad loves him unconditionally and has provided for his needs which are numerous due to his disabilities. Please don't separate these two. It would be a travesty.

The act is unconstitutional. This man is not a criminal and should not be separated from his son as a result of Andrew Cuomo's corrupted actions & political career.

I served with Mr Mokhiber in the army he it's a great man and a true patriot. Please don't make him a victim of this flawed act that turns good people into felons who don't even have I'll intent.

This case has brought to light a flawed agenda meant to protect law abiding citizens. I urge the court to deliver the most lienient option and then recommend to amend this law to reflect reality and safety of the people. Glad I do not live in NY with such an agenda in place.

It is a travesty that this man has to go through such a nightmare because of tyrannical policies being implemented by the corrupt politicians of this once great state. I've worked with Simi in the past, he is a hard working single father. I'm saddened he is even dealing with this.

This is a complete outrage. Simeon Mokhiber did nothing wrong. He had ammunition safely Lockef in his trunk with no weapon. Ammunition in itself poses no danger. The only danger in N.Y. are the liberal strong holds stripping away every ones rights
