This will only harm a good man. I know Simeon personally and served in the same section with him in Iraq. He was my direct, first-line supervisor and maintained the integrity that is in line with the highest standards of an Army Paratrooper. Simeon is a dedicated father and a true American. Please show leniency.

Please see the common sense in this sentencing.... this is a combat veteran who served this great nation, so you can have the ability to sit in the judicial bench and make the right decision. Find him not guilty and send him home to be with his child. Common sense must be part of the judicial system.

This conviction is a perversion of the justice system as is the law it was based on.

This is getting out of hand

I served with Simeon in the 82d Airborne and can say with all honesty that he was and still is an upstanding citizen and role model. This conviction turned an exemplary U.S. citizen into a criminal by definition alone..certainly not by character. If this conviction is not overturned completely, Simeon should at the very least be granted leniency. It's not too late to correct this mistake that has been made by the New York state judicial system.

Please be as lenient as possible with this person, who has already given a lot to this country, and has a special child that needs him home. He harmed no one, nothing was done with maloius or ill intent,.

This is the result of an un-vetted law, passed in secrecy.
