I'd respectfully like to make a plea for leniency for Mr. Simeon Mokhiber, clearly a good man, for his poor judgment in breaking this relatively new law. Thank you for taking my plea into consideration.

Dear Hon. Matthew J. Murphy,
We, the undersigned, humbly plead for judicial leniency in the sentencing of Mr. Simeon D. Mokhiber who was charged and found guilty of possessing three 17-Round ammunition magazines.
While I respect the laws of NY State, I personally find the NY State Safe Act to be a violation of the 2nd Amendment.

The safe act is a joke it's nothing but smoke and mirrors feel good laws to appease the liberals. It's nonsense that does nothing to save lives or stop gun crime. It's only intent is to turn law abiding citizens into criminals. This man is not a criminal for owning something that is legal in nearly every other state in this country.

OUTRAGEOUS! There was no victim, no intent to do harm, not even a firearm in the vehicle or on his person! While Mr. Mokhiber is a licensed handgun owner with a registered handgun, NO firearm was in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop.
