The violence in the inner cities continues to rise as upstanding citizens are persecuted. The so called safe act has failed the citizens of New York.

This man needs to be given the lightest sentence possible as in reality he commited no crime. The SAFE Act is full of contradictions. Under the SAFE Act provisions I am allowed to own those magazines but he is not. Double standard; let him go.

It is my belief that any service member, who has served honorably, should be shown some consideration in non-violent incidences. The SAFE act made this a crime, in most any other state this would just be a citizen exercising their constitutional right.

I understand the law being broke in this matter. The law is some what over done in regards to firearm possession with magazines that may be legal in most states. The charges should be reduced to a misdemeanor.

Can't wait to get out of NY State. This law does absolutely nothing to protect anyone living in the state and only hinders those that lawfully own and carry firearms.

how are these gun/magazine restrictions making it more difficult for criminals to commit crimes? The only ones affected by these clear restrictions of our 2nd amendment RIGHTS are law abiding citizens, not criminals.

Really nice after someone gives up so much of their life for the government that this is what they get. Not that anyone should go to prison for something so stupid.
