Witnessing this surge of backing for our horses is deeply moving because it shows how many of you refuse to turn a blind eye to this abuse anymore. The momentum we have built together proves that the culture of silence around these show rings is finally coming to an end.

This has to stop , no one wants to see these beautiful Arabians looking so frightened , chased by bags & shanked , its disgusting
Unless W.A.H.O., the A.HS. & all relevant breed societies around the globe sits up & take proper notice of how seriously the conduct of SOME professional handlers is damaging the image & public perception of the Arabian show horse, their abusive handling techniques will just continue to get worse & worse....we should ALL be putting the horses' physical & mental wellbeing above ANY showing title!
Cruelty must be stopped & judges must not award scared or whip / shank abuaed horses . The harsh handling won't stop if the results are awarded in the showering
this needs to stop it is doing the Arab horse no good ! They need to go back to being the lovely ridden horse they use to be , not the silly faffy things on the end of a chain .what I would like to know is what happens to them when their so called showing career is over !
Me and my boyfriend have a horse that was abused at a uk show, lucky someone spoke up about it and took photos but this handler is still showing! Please we must help put a stop to this
I will gladly support your cause. We hate Blackburn and all it stands for.
We do not want this to happen, we as Ribble Valley residents want nothing to do with Blackburn

This time. It stops. This time, ECAHO will ACT. They must. It is only a matter of time before media grabs the abuse story and runs with it. How inefficient will ECAHO look if they do nothing. They were formed in the 1980's to stop abuse in the Arabian show world. If ECAHO implements changes to remove abuse, maybe we can get other parts of the world to follow.
