Safety is of utmost importance. Privacy is not expected in a public school building hallway, gym or library

Even though my child isn't old enough to be in school yet, I'm signing because I care about the safety of others in the community and I hope the cameras will stay always!

Outside of bathrooms with time tracking to deter/identify the threatening messages that require evacuation and all of the resources to ensure the schools are safe.

I can’t believe the school doesn’t already have security cameras. It is the smart thing to do.

Yes please! The threats are disheartening and worrisome as a parent. It needs to stop!

Our district prides itself on many things (and rightfully so!) but the LACK of action around student safety is appalling. The kids have 1:1 chrome books, yet the buildings are not equipped with basic cameras to provide security and clear cut evidence when things go wrong. It is unfathomable to me that we don’t have external cameras, and even more-so internal cameras. When my child was repeatedly targeted by a group of kids, admin told me “short of video evidence to show their parents, we won’t get anywhere with them.” Inexcusable. My wish is that the district get video cameras, in AND out of all school buildings, and stop holding off already.

If you aren't doing anything wrong it shouldn't matter. This is taxpayer property not private.

My children will be entering the school systems next year. I fully support cameras helping staff and police monitor campus safety!

Cameras are everywhere. We need them to protect our kids and it could minimize or eliminate the incidents like happened yesterday.

I think they should also be placed in bathrooms. Not by toilets but everywhere else. I know for a fact a lot of stuff goes on in the bathrooms
