Totally unacceptable. Would devastate the waterfront. This is not Vancouver, greedy pigs!

Doesn't fit the neighbourhood. Why do municipal people spend countless thousands of dollars and hours to develop and create an OCP, then propose to ignore it and allow a monstrosity like this to built. I thought perhaps they learned their lesson with the great waterfront wall called Watermark. Evidently not. Keep the remaining waterfront R-1. It's not green, it's not sustainable, it's not eco friendly, it's not low income housing, it's not...(insert all the other common buzzwords used frequently) etc etc etc.

I am a resident of Gibsons, not Sechelt, but I still value that area near Snickett Park for walks with my son who lives in Sechelt. I am opposed to the George Hotel in Gibsons, too. These attacks on the waterfront areas need to stop.

We have already lost most of the Village waterfront to high-density development. It's time to keep large developments away from the waterfront!

This development is not needed in Sechelt. It will irrevocably change the waterfront in a very negative way and will have a huge impact on already stretched water supplies.

I am opposed to the development because of the added draw on water , removal of trees and the location as the traffic will be a big problem.

People come to the Sunshine Coast and just love it. Sooner or later, someone, somewhere decides that they don' like it the way it is and they prefer to have some of the amenities of the city as well the seaside, small town experience and presto there is a developer right there with this idea to make some money, never mind what it means to the environment, the ambience of our community, what it means to those who already live here and have done quite happily for many years. Please don't support this project!

This is not the kind of development we need right now for Sechelt. We need affordable housing and we need to retain the integrity of our seaside community and keep what beautiful trees we can. A project of this size is not suitable for the waterfront as it is too big, and will not provide much needed affordable housing for Sechelt. I do not approve of the proposal to Rezone this area. I'm not against development, but monstrous concrete buildings on the waterfront do not reflect the beauty of our natural surroundings. Perhaps our council should take some inspiration from Gibsons where the new buildings are constructed of natural materials and reflect the west coast.

Our nice little community will be a division on Vancouver if we don't stop the construction of these condos along our foreshore. Look at "The Watermark", what an eyesore.

There are many places to put apartment.. in the middle of sensitive foreshore is not one of them. The people making these plans are using 19th century science ..
