SEC students objection to the new academic block system

Your Thoughts about the Block System... It's rushing the syllabus which is truly meant to be and designed to be learnt consistently and at a medium phase, in a really effective, long-lasting manner. This system makes us hurry and does not give us enough time to prepare for our final exams, even completing the syllabus by the faculty within this short period is really troublesome and causing a lot of issues for them, forcing them to skip chapters or important concepts as the time is limited. our time to prepare for final exams is extremely short and it's distressing us, the students.

We would like to continue our previous academic system. Thank you

Please change the new enrollment system.our kind and humble request

Kindly start this new system form next year as this system is difficult to adapt and we each have different subject not taken

This block system is inconvenient for me and also I can't complete the credits,I can't able to study the course within 45 days .

We don't need this system as the duration of the terms is short and it makes us feel stressful also we can't finish the enrolled courses on time. The first years who is already following this system didn't want this system to continue. As this new system has many setbacks we request you to reconsider on implementing the new system. Thank you

Follow the existing system

Studying courses for 45 days does not inforce long-term learning. This would make students cream in their exams and they would forget their learnings afterwards. Active recalling is required for long term learning which would not be provided in block system. Moreover, 45 days makes us to write exams every week which does not give students enough time to involve in workshops and hackathon. Even if they register for those, they have to cancel them at last moment due to exams. Hence , it's a request from all students of SEC to continue the normal system for us too and if a new system is to be implemented kindly inform us beforehand which would help us to plan accordingly. Lack of information makes us go insane and takes a toll on our mental health.
