Wrestling builds character and provides young men and women an opportunity to hone the craft of perseverance. These young scholars have built, funded and ran the club for years now. Hard work should be rewarded.

These young men are trying to do good things and I am sure UNCW can find some space and money to help them out!
I am disappointed that "common athletics" continue to be ousted from the budgets of many of our colleges. Though I understand the importance of the money making sports for colleges and universities, this does not negate the need for smaller sports for students to participate in. Our children have to have the ability do do what they love, where they love to be and to continue to challenge them to be cohesive units of society.
