I think they can have a safe & in person graduation. Kids only and chaperones. Masks too. Especially since it’s before August 1 when things might change here on Maui.

There students spent 7 years of their life and $140,000. They deserve to have a graduation. Even if none of the staff that would be considered "At Risk" can attend.

I am signing this petition is full support of the graduating class of 2020 to have what is duly theirs. Most of this class has been at Seabury since the 6th grade. Not to give them this rite of passage from a school steeped in tradition, would be a tragedy and totally unacceptable. What we are asking for is permissible and in accordance with the county guidelines and mandates.

Surely there's a way to hold the graduation ceremony safely outside on that vast campus. With all due respect, if the Administration is unable to orchestrate a 2-hour outdoor ceremony for outgoing Seniors in July, how is it that Grades 6-12 are supposedly returning to full-time in-person school in August? Mahalo for your reconsideration.

As a graduating senior this would be a great privilege that I believe is also a quite reasonable request. Thank you for your understanding.

I was so disappointed to see staff and administration standing shoulder to shoulder at the drive through graduation with masks around their necks while students had to be severely socially distanced. There is absolutely no reason to cancel graduation right now. There are solutions to whatever concerns the administration may have. Find the solution!!

Was it not enough to take the prom, senior trip and senior night? And now to cancel the graduation is completely unacceptable.
