Scrap the shutters

It is against human rights to stop the pupils going to the toilet. What next bread and water for dinner?

Bodily functions don’t work to times. If you need to go, you need to go. It is disgraceful and disgraceful to the pupils. Do the teachers toilets have shutters?

Ridiculous what happens if a child is feeling ill?

It's genuinly so unfair on the people with medical conditions and the people that actually need the toilet. Why is everyone else getting punished because a few people that are idiots aren't behaving properly? If I need the toilet I need the toilet, and preventing me from going should be illegal because it's litterraly a human right

If the idea is to reduce the use of toilets for smoking/vaping, then the shutters are punitive and punish non offenders as well. Pls do look at alternative deterrents (ie; detectors).

The school must think beyond carceral and punitive methods for tackling problems of kids smoking in toilets.

The children have a right to use the toilets throughout the day.

This is absolutely ridiculous, students with toilet passes and disabilities are being penalised and discriminated against due to school not managing the problems competently!

It’s a human right to go to the toilet so put the shutters off and let ppl go toilet when they need it

It's a human right to use the toilet when they need it, not allowing kids to use the toilet when it's needed is abuse

This is just not right, I've been to this school, the toilets beim shut isn't the only problem with that school, the way they treat kids with mental health problems is horrible
