Absolutely inhumane and breach of basic human rights. I'm utterly disgusted! The trauma this will cause some students!

This is vile! Even prisoners have access to toilets all day! My child doesn't even go to this school but I'll gladly sign

Preventing children from using toilets during lessons to the point where they become ill or are forced into humiliating situations such as wetting themselves is psychological and physical torture. Stop torturing children!

Children should have access to toilets at ALL times. Girls especially.

It is not a prison, surely a key is secure enough.
What a waste of money that could be better spent on children.
If my daughter “needs” the toilet, she asks the teacher if she can go to the toilet and the teacher declines, she has my permission to go.

It’s not right to put barriers on kids accessing the toilet. Many have anxiety about using the toilet at school as it is

This is absolutely shocking. Taking away basic human rights. Lose the shutters! I was a student at Archbishop & I really struggle there. My MH was terrible & they didn’t have any idea or training on how to help. My attendance was low due to this & I was only punished for it. It’s clear to see that the school has not changed since I was there & STILL don’t care about their pupils!

I can't believe that in 2025 we are shuttering toilets. If hanging out in toilets during lessons is so attractive then perhaps you need to make lessons places our young people want to be in.
Perhaps put more effort into making your school a safe happy place.

It is unacceptable to restrict access as visiting the toilet is a basic human need.

I’ve been at the school 5 years and I’ve not seen anything like it. It’s against human rights. I feel bad for the new year 7s starting in September
