I can't use the toilets even at the end of school, because of the shutters that have been added. I have to go all the way to reception or any disabled toilets( and most times someone is already there) and I have a bus to catch. I don't have a toilet pass, but I often desperately need the toilet even after using it at lunch or break.

My concern is that they have taken away the basic human right to use a toilet when needed. Shutters seems extreme. I wasn’t aware that students needing to use a toilet in lesson time was such a big problem within the school that they deemed it necessary to install shutters.

Utterly disgusting!! Stop making our children feel like they are in prison and contributing to health issues!! So many children already get bullied - you are just going to give the bullies more ammunition if a child has an accident because the nearest toilet is shut. That will add to mental health issues too - its a joke - get them re-opened!!

I think the shutters are creating more problems then they are so solving it’s absolutely ridiculous I believe that every person should have the right to use the toilet with no questions asked!

I think this is disgraceful, and completely against our children's human rights!! My daughter was left until lunch time when she needed to change due to her period!!!

utterly disgusting, all children should be allowed to go to the toilet whenever. not allowing them can genuinely give them health issues!! it puts them at risk of UTIs or even worse, kidney function issues.
