This service is used a lot by myself for training videos for our fire department let alone the on line courses we take, and then there is also my business that relys greatly on internet usage. This is not fair to cap the rural internet users, I figured to see pkgs offered down the road for higher speed but never a cap on the usage.

It's getting do hard to survive in Nova Scotia and have luxuries like cable and internet. I think that this is ridiculous. And I can somewhat get behind doing it to new customers but doing it to loyal current customers is awful. You will lose sooooo many customers over this

Not even close to compare to other companies. May as well be dial-up.

Eastlink this is not the way to go. We signed up for UNLIMITED internet service or we wouldn't have up at all. No where in my agreement when you installed it did it say that we were not to use it for streaming Netflix, YouTube, ect. You can't change the rules now.....

eastlink goes this way and i will not be a customer of theirs no more. this isn't fair to their customers after all we are all suppose to be getting unlimited internet and besides who wants to have a cap on their internet that they have to watch how much they download in a run of a month.... come on eastlink get your act together. and keep the internet to unlimited. i'm sure there's a lot more other people in shoes like mine and can't afford to pay on a cap. WE DO NOT WANT A CAP

Either scrap this foolishness or kiss your rural customers goodbye. Yet another disgusting corporation stealing from its poorest customers.

This is crazy that you are doing this. It was promised to us Nova Scotian's that you were provding us iwth better internet to be on par with the rest of Canada. To be able to have online businesses, shop, communicate, etc. By doing this you are affecting not only your clients but our economy. The Eastlink Corporate Division needs to get their act together.

If this happens eastlink will loose so many customers who don't have the capeability to choose who they are with for enternet providers. Not only will they loose hundreds if both thousands of clients, but also be loosin thousands of dollars every month. We should be allowed access to a much enternet as we care. With this limitation we will no longer to be able to use YouTube and xbox live, not to mention netflix, which means you are not only loosing money for your own company, you are taking away the loyal clients o netflix, causing them to loose thousands of dollars every month. This is by far one of the most outrageous things I've come across in a long wile.

Eastlink has provided us with a mediocre at best service and now they want to dictate what we can and cannot use it for? Knowing their rural subscribers have no other option makes this move particularly shady.

Please don't, everything else in this world costs an arm and a leg...leaves us the rest of our limbs

We already suffer enough with slow internet, why penalize us more?

Seems like a great idea! If you want to create brand enemies for life. You're making Rogers look good, really, Rogers!!!
