I came here to retire with a better quality of life not to have to pay more and more for my recreation time.

The technology exists to provide great rural internet. We need a company that recognizes this and delivers.

To cap a already useless service which eastlink cannot provide speeds near what they advertise their service as they should have been charged long ago for their criminal activity.

They are punishing people who don't have cable, (it's way too expensive).

Most of us cannot afford internet as it is. Take away usage by capping it... and why bother having it?

This is a thinly veiled attempt at dodging net neutrality. Their original website specifically says for watching video, which they've taken down now but we have proof.

This is totally unacceptable. we already pay more than non-rural people pay for less then half the service they get.

Between the less-than-marginal service Eastlink provides to the vast majority of their Rural Broadband customers (averaging less than 25% of optimal speecds) and the prospect of this poor service having data caps tacked on, Eastlink is rapidly becoming Nova Scotia's most hated company. DUMP THE CAPS! It's bad PR and even worse business.

The fact this is how you decided to deal with internet speeds is ridiculous. Try improving your infrastructure and equipment that often fails with rain. If all we are to do is check email with it, might as well go to dial up or just pay for a data plan. The uses of the internet is evolving, try keeping up.

Eastlink Wireless throttles the speed to save money. It is barely faster than dial up. They should have been forced to honour their contract.

This is ridiculous. It is a shitty service to begin with and now you want to cap my usage. Pretty pathetic!!! You will lose customers but I'm sure you won't mind since your focus is not on helping rural customers but to line your pockets from cell phones and high speed services.

This is unacceptable, without true high speed capability rural Nova Scotia will continue to decline. Access is needed for students and workers in rural industry alike. High Speed internet is a resource that must be accessible so they can compete in the global economy.
