Scrap the Eastlink Rural WiFi usage cap

My parents have a place in Port Royal and I am able to work remotely. However, trying to do it over their Eastlink internet was almost impossible. I need to do video conference calls with my business associates. Even just audio calls were often interrupted. At some points I had to resort to my Bell LTE which was prohibitively expensive. I would stay longer spending money into the local economy if I could effectively work from there. Please fix this. We would even pay more as we know its a rural service as long as we got service that was considered "average" in other cities in Canada.

So many times that I can't even log onto the internet. It's very frustrating.

Beautiful area but the internet at the local B and B was bad and the owners blamed Eastlink.

One would think that we get charged enough for all the Internet charges, How much we use it should balance out from how little others use it.

This cap is ludicrous in 2015

A two-tiered system that differentiates rural and urban customers should not be used.

Get rid of the usage cap, and upgrade wireless hardware (towers and receivers to improve services before you decide to over charge you customers for a sub standard and unreliable service..

This is unreal and unfair to all the loyal customers that pay a high bill for mediocre service.

Internet fees are too expensive already in Nova Scotia compared to other provinces that have some competition....If this hike is a response to cutting cable T.V. You may be pushing people that way?

This is very hard on those of us who work from home.

You want to continue receiving my hard earned MONEY..... Give us what we are entitled too. We already pay more then others in Canada for nothing.. time to stop shitting on us.

If you pay for internet, you should be able to do whatever you want, and for aslong as you want unlimited means unlimited

Bandwidth caps are stupid when you're already paying way too much

This service is as bad as dial up used to be. To cap a already under par service is absurd.we need another alternative to eastlink.
