Being Chief engineer of a rural fire Dept I rely on watching videos and looking up information on our trucks for maintenance and overall use techniques. on a personal level I use you tube on a regular basis for the guitar lessons I purchased along with doing my carpentry apperentiship on line. it was said that this was to give rural NS equal opportunity to the usage of internet like the ones who can receive it hard wired to their house. by limiting our access how is this equality?

Seaside gets 6 m dollars and does upgrades,Eastlink caps and adds fees.System was outdated when installed so we need to use it as basic Internet was 10 years ago. I suppose that Eastlink can't be at fault for overloading this outdated system with too many customers. Nova Scotia only ones to be capped, wow. Poor reflection on how your company does business. Gouge the defenceless, shame on you!

You can't just make a 15GB cap for the wifi. Wi-fi is one part of our life now, you can't live without it.

Worse then dial up! We have to pay for high speed, but there is nothing fast about it !

Ew ve been treated like second class citizens long enough Already we don't have tidy cheap packages like cable subscribers get TV telephone internet paid for separetly and more expensive We don't need less service we need a break!

I signed up for unlimited usage . Not happy , what we now have works or doesn't work well depending on the weather .

I develop websites. This cap will make an already miserable work environment on this slow, inconsistent connection even worse. We should not have to pay more for less service than the rest of the province (almost the world) has access to. Caps are on the way out globally and Nova Scotia and Canada have the worst internet usage caps around. Time to catch up with the rest of the developed world - not fall farther behind.

Hey, Improve the service, and scrap the cap. This is not fair because we live in a rural area.

Rural development will never happen if we keep reducing rural infrastructure capability.

This is so what I would expect of Eastlink. The only reason they offered Rural Service is because of the Government grants they received, God forbid the paying customers expect good, reliable, continuous service and that includes customer service as well. I spent 6 mts calling weekly about my shitty service and finally had to completely lose it on some poor girl working at the call center before anything was done.
