Actually more money. You will be charged for exceeding the cap, making your bill higher.

Having wireless internet is a challenge at the best of times, we do not deserve the service to be less than it is now!

I am a summer resident and I need reliable internet for my work. I am appalled at Eastlink's lying, unethical behavior with this cap. I have received no direct communication from Eastlink about it ... Only through social media do I even know about it. When were they going to tell me they were going to provide even crappier service for the same amount of money?

I don't think it's right. We should get to watch things just like anyone else.We pay for it,so we should have a say what we watch. All this crap about paying more is just a bunch of crap.Just because we live in a rural area don't mean diddly.I say scrap the cap.

This is completely ridiculous. More money for horrible internet service? A gigabyte cap? How are people supposed to use and enjoy their internet service for what it's intended for? I guess a multi-million dollar company like Eastlink doesn't already make enough money...what a shame.

There's no reason why ISPs are allowed the amount of power that they have. The internet is not a luxury, it's the largest source of knowledge that humans have ever collected.

Bell now available to us down our road. First change to my bill - will be the last bill I get from Eastlink.

Only when there is no monolopy and competition can regulate the prices can they start looking at changes. Let them fulfil their promise of providing high speed internet to ALL the rural communities as agreed first.
