I feel the new internet cap is setting us back in time! In an age where everyone is moving ahead it feels as if we are moving backwards. I'm considering looking into satellite internet and leaving eastlink in the dust!

Lindsay ,already did that was without internet 10 and asked for a refund on the service .Actually thats how long it takes to get someone to service it 10 days and this has been done more than once

We pay enough for our Eastlink services, just keep it the way it is. If anything you need to improve the service before you even think of adding caps or extra charges.

We have had poor internet from the beginning,We have had times when the internet was not working at all . We have called lots of times for help and always the same thing said We will send a tech out in 10 days. Paying for a service thats there sometimes is not acceptible and capping and paying more is no answer. We moved here to Glenwood 6 years ago and there was only aliant that was so pitiful that we were on first name bases with the tech that was always up a pole . He actually told us to go with eastlink when it becomes available ,now that its been here it is not much better and overpriced for the service that they provide. So as I see it,we are stuck here with no options at all We like to watch you tube just like others ,that was one of the reasons cause ,we would wait for ever for the video to buffer with the other provider, this is 2015 is it not? so why are us living in rural areas getting crapped on Are we still living in the 90's?

Rural inhabitants deal with enough limitations already. I signed up for unlimited. That's the service that I should get.

i have yet to receive any notice in my email or mail about this cap! Please do not do this! The Internet is slow, but the unlimited makes up for it! If anything the people who already have it shouldn't be affected unless disconnected or new customers, anyone grandfathered in should NOT have to have this change !

Terrible service since the beginning. Its always horrible when one has no choice. Now to cap it....the only good thing about the service is that its unlimited! If u cant run it and upgrade it u should not have bid on the ptoject...did u seriously think the internet and streaming wouldn't progress?! It was/is the fasting growing technology of the century. When a person has to upgrade their hardware every few years to keep current so does the provider. Suck it up eastlink and provide a decent service!
