Equal speed with the rest of Nova Scotia not increased costs and caps for an inferior service.

This could really hurt us as we use internet a lot and are rural. We stream netflix and stay in touch with family on skype. Please don't limit or gigs!

Going after the most vulnerable users who have no other choice of provider due to EastLink's monopoly is a low underhanded stunt. Shame on you, EastLink. Reverse this decision.

this is like the power company saying "when we started there only 2 lights per home and no tv, freezer or fans so we are going to limit customers to 2 light bulbs from now on." i am already at a disadvantage with endless buffering because the promised high speed i not as advertised.

discriminating by locale in order to reclaim lost profits as a result of alternative entertainment in the form of online streaming/video sites is disgusting.

This doesn't affect me personally but I do know a lot of peoe that it does affect. You pay the price for high speed, you should get high speed. No need of it in this day and age. A lot of stuff is done on a computer/Internet and it is a pain in the butt when it takes hours for things to load because the HIGH SPEED is even slower then dial-up use to be.

A lot of people that live in the rural areas are on a limited income .. Our chooses are limited to certain providers i.e. Eastlink, Bell Tv, They monopolize these services and we are at their mercy!! What is the government doing about this? They supplied Eastlink with millions of dollars to ensure this service Which by the way is no where near HRM's speeds...... and now Eastlink is capping only rural communities.. I hope we all take the time to contact our MLA's that we voted in and demand that make a stand on our behalf...

The Internet is horrible as it is. Putting a cap on is ridiculous. I constantly lose signal as it is. What about those of us who run businesses online and Skype to family members?

The service was always slower then in town high speed but this last year it is horrible! My speed tests show 1/3 of the speed as what they could be and Eastlink doesn't nothing... Same fee... It can take 5 minutes to open an internet page and all they say is there is just too much on the tower (don't they control that). They even have told me its up to the MLA's where they can add hardware access. All I know is I need Internet for work but this is ridiculous- big bills and barely any service! We even pay higher prices then some of my friends with hard wired Internet!

The cap makes life in a rural area very difficult on so many ways ;
Limits my spouse's ability to telecommute meaning more drain on his time and the environment to commute , limits my teenage daughters ability to stay in touch with friends with Instagram ect. And do research from home, kills the only TV any of us have YouTube and Netflix. We won't even be able to watch videos family might send by email or post on face book.
