Eastlink will not dictate what I am able to use MY internet for. Their jealously over people choosing Netflix over their 100.00 service is petty and rediculous. If allowed how long before all providers start charging.

Tim Bowser Hingston,NS Well checked my usage for June at 22.5GB, not streaming video other then news (where it takes 5 min to get through the ads first). But be serious, Eastlink was a none cell provider but the original plan allowed the government to pay a percentage of installing towers which are more ideally located to give good cell coverage to the valley than for wireless internet. So we have poor coverage, using out dated equipment. Now make the users suffer and complain and maybe force the government to pay for an upgrade to meet the new recommended 5Mb. Take a look at Xplornet in NB, offering 4G service at 25Mb and a 75GB cap for the same price I will end up paying in Aug.

Eastlink service already is very poor always dropping me online. Since Eastlink has a monopoly they don't seem to care when I call up. The wait time to get service is absolutely ridicules!! Something has to be done!

This is absolutely ludicrous. If there's any capping to be done, it should be to the people on REAL high speed. We're discriminated enough already by the totally crappy service we receive.

We deserve the same services as those living in cities....that is discrimination!

Current service does not support doing business in rural Nova Scotia - additional costs only further handicap efforts to grow the local economy.

Unfair and discriminatory to restrict/charge more for a basic communication service because we live in a rural community

Service is only marginally better than dial-up or satellite, and totally inadequate for 2015.

We already have issues with our internet and are very limited. This isn't going to help. Very frustrating.

I will forever boycott Eastlink because of their dirty business practices. Gouging customers for sub par service. I would rather live without tv, phone, or Internet than give any money whatsoever to this dirty company.

Ridiculous...we Maritimers are tired of being the last to receive the same as the rest of Canada...absurd in this day and age of the internet....

Service needs to be upgraded to High Def as well. Seriously thinking about going to Bell.

Loyal customers are watching this and will be making other arrangements that better suit their needs, do not cap.

Their reasons don't make any sense. They need to invest in the future not relegate us to the past.
