They have gotten away with it for so long I guess they figure why not push the envelope a little further...after all nothing has been done to stop them.

This absolutely unacceptable!!! I am the last customer on our line. I pay full price now for poor speed and connection. Now you want to cap my usage? Your own techs have told me the equipment that transmits to my house is antique. Maybe you should upgrade your system to provide better customer service instead of putting a limit on my already limited crappy service! If your all about your customers, PROVE IT!!!

A person is already paying for a service it doesn't need to get dinged again

Eastlink is dragging Nova Scotia down. It must be costing millions of dollars in lost revenue to the province as well as being a bad example as a communications company. I worked for BT in the UK for 37 years and we had to move with the times as we had a lot of competition. Without competition a company gets complacent. Eastlink needs to be dragged kicking and screaming into the twenty-first century and provide a service that is fit for purpose.

I guess the town of Yarmouth are promoting a new Eastlink store in the mall today ,Zack Churchill and the Mayor cutting the ribbon, just rubbing it into the wounds of the rest of us. Can't believe it !!

$54 a month is already sizeable monthly bill. We had hopes of an on-line business, now not to be because of frustratingly slow service. Most of the time we can't even watch a Netflix movie. Eastlink is ripping off rural customers who have no other options for internet service.

It seems that they want to be able to gouge like the "big guys" without providing the service and not keeping current with changes in use and technology.

Unfair business decision to take advantage individual customers.

my kids have all received chrome books at school with which they have to do all of their homework on now... No choice, but struggle with our east link service as it is to get their work done... Now it'll cost even more with no upgrades in sight. Robbery...

This Eastlink move is a disgrace in 2015. Why doesn't Bell just step in and take the Eastlink business and do it properly?

Worst idea ever! I use YouTube netflix and other streaming services all the time with a cap on usage I would be able to do that anymore! Might consider another alternative !!!

Internet in rural NS is essential, to small business and individuals. There should be no cap on usage, and service should be improved to meet the promised service for which the public paid.

Not right.

We are disadvantaged in rural areas, and Eastlink should step up to the plate to remedy this, as a public service to such areas.
