Eastlink Is always putting their prices up continually! I'm getting sick of it!! I got rid of my home phone with them and if they keep it up I will get rid of my cable and Internet with them!

What Eastlink is proposing is shameful but does not surprise me. Rural communities deserve the same internet service as everyone else and at the same cost! No capping!

As a matter of equity, rural communities need, deserve and expect good service at fair prices, rather than 'no better than dial- up' service, at inflated prices, now to be capped.

Eastlink is shameful! I am an adjunct faculty member for a major univeristy and teach online courses. Many of our rural students rely on taking Department of Education courses through the Nova Scotia Virtual School. All Nova Scotian teachers, rural or not, are required to use web-based grading and reporting tools. Half of Nova Scotia lives in rural areas and we demand equity of education and all other services.

I have stuck with Eastlink even though Bell has been after me many times with special pricing. I have cable, phone and internet and do not expect to go over the cap. However if they follow through with this it might show it is time to switch. I do not think it is fair and I am tired of seeing rural areas getting screwed.

This cap plan is adding insult to injury - we're given only a barely working service and then told we're being greedy (hogs) when we use it in a way consistent with how the world uses the internet in 2015. This cap thing I think is a red herring distraction - giving us something else to be angry about while ignoring the issue that we don't get the service we want/need/deserve now - at ANY price.

Eastdink books appointments and then doesn't bother to show up so you lose time and wages as a direct result of Lee Bragg incompetence. Lee's cousin and former executive sales manager quit when he became Diane Whalen's campaign manager. As a plum for her winning Peter was given a position as the repeatedly proven incompetent Leo Glavine's executive assistant where he abused that authority by trying to intimidate a doctor who was opposed to LIEbral legislation. Perhaps Lee and Peter can return the favor plum and put the LIEbrals to work in the family blueberry fields where they can do no more harm to Nova Scotia!!
