As if we can afford you now just make it more expensive. You will lose a ton of costumers. There is no common sense here at all. Do you even have enough brains to keep your ears apart?

We have lost thousands due to the fact we were misinformed by eastlink employees on the speeds of the internet before we moved. I didnt think party lines for internet even existed! This is exactly what our connection is like, a party line, when theres too many online in our neighbourhood we cant even get one and it drastically impacts my spouses work!

I finally gave up on Eastlink. Poor signal and blaming the customer for their equipment problems.

It is unacceptable and unfair for those of us who live in a rural area to have less access to the internet.

Rural high speed is somewhat of a joke. My work relies on high quality high speed. Up load rates of 1 mg per second is horrible and download rates of 5 mps are equally intolerable. Government should step in and demand fibre op quality right across the province. It makes cross that my work ability is restricted by bad rural internet. Eastlink is rubbing in an already bad service by putting on caps for shame.

1. Service is so intermittent. 2. Cap is an almost 45% increase of fees. 3. The contract with the Province called for 100% service by the end of Dec 2009. Eastlink claimed success in 2014 but in reality, terms of contract still not met. 4. In rural NS Eastlink is the only service much like NSP is the only provider of electricity. Maybe Eastlink should be controlled by the URB.

Eastlink should demonstrate a commitment to providing a service it committed to providing to all Nova Scotians rather than trying to ram through such an inequitable policy and offering only flimsy excuses.

It's completely ridiculous that the service you provide is so poor to this area.

As a teacher, I use the Internet all the time. I maintain a website for parents, download lesson and, worksheets and videos to use in my lessons, write my report cards on-line, and now I will need to learn the new curriculum through modules on-line over my summers. I also use the Internet to access things the Dept. of Education posts in moodles, download curriculum guides and updates to those guides, and take on-line courses which also involve on-line discussions with other professionals. I pay for my internet service so I can do my job and can not write it off as a business expense and I happily do this because I love my job. Please do not limit my data usage. This will impact my ability to do my job effectively. I also don't want all my data usage to go to my job and have nothing left for personal use. By limiting how I use the Internet you are not allowing usage that is in line with 21st Century practices. You are creating discrepancies between rural and urban users. This is inequitable..
