Council tax is extortionate. Let us enjoy one bit of our own town. Will kill business in winter

I think this is a terrible idea and will directly impact the people of Barry rather than tourists

This will destroy the island and make it impossible for us locals to even come home. The island will not only be empty of tourists,locals and business but some of us residents would also move away from the vale as we simply couldnt afford to pay for parking which we are not even guaranteed.

How ridiculous. Everything should be done to promote visitors coming to Barry and Barry island. There should be investment not further ridiculously high parking fees. The parking fees and parking arrangements currently in place should remain. This will deter visitors that are needed for local businesses to survive.

You should encourage visitors and shoppers by retaining the free parking, short-sighted for minimal return. Council should look closer to home to save money and not penalise the town.

Once again VOG are cashing in on the back of a surge in Gavin & Stacey popularity . They get enough money from the 2 big car parks , they also get a lot of business rates and council tax from the Island , plus rent from the properties and spaces they lease out . The camera car also gets hundreds of cars here weekly for parking . Why is this council so dead set on driving people away from the Island .

Will definitely stop me/put me off going on my daily visit to a coffee shop in Barry island

If you pay council tax in an area you should not have to pay to park in that area.
