Scrap proposed on Street parking charges at Barry Island.

Not in agreement to pay to park in streets where I live

This will kill winter trade. Local residents need to be able to visit their local beaches and parks free of charge, for health and mental health.

Barry Island should be for everybody; young and old, tourist, but ESPECIALLY locals; there are already two paid car parks in the area. Barry is a working class area and people are already struggling with the cost of living, why should they have to pay to enjoy their own town. This on top of the extreme rises in council tax and cuts to so many services especially recycling centre and street cleaning

Don’t need the extra expense when attending Community Centre which has very few parking permits or when going for a walk along promenade

This will stop me visiting the island for exercise and fresh air - I can bearly afford to run a car so parking charges will be the final limit for me

Everything in Barry is going down hill very fast. You need to keep the parking over the Island and Knap free to encourage people. Keep jobs therefore better for the economy. Be realistic!!!
