No need to charge on street with car parks already charging.

This is gonna have a detrimental affect on the local businesses , which are still struggling for the aftermath of Covid 19, and imposing more charges to park will affect the businesses even more .

Absolute disgrace for the local people; everything is slowly disappearing from Barry and if it’s not disappearing we are getting charged; it’s not like there’s loads of parking as it is; your going to stop the local people from supporting small businesses

I work at the pub and it’s ridiculous you can’t even park longer than 2 hours, also mothers taking their children to beach then have got to uproot them to move the car. Really not good for trade either.

This is going to hurt tourism and the businesses. Why do you want to destroy our town?

For a dog Walker frequenting the beach with my dog on an almost daily basis and spending money on local business working hard on the seafront, this would be detrimental to these businesses as I would chose to walk my dog elsewhere where parking is free.

This will destroy the remaining businesses who already struggle. Dog walkers and short term visitors will stop attending and these are who keep the businesses running in winter. This is a terrible idea!!

If this goes ahead it will damage trade at the Island, especially over winter periods where people visit regularly to walk dogs and will limit locals making use of outdoor spaces.
