Absolute joke when we need to get more people instead of losing people due to parking charges.

As a barry island dog walker and business owner myself, if this goes ahead, it will be very damaging to local business and barry island life in general. Please leave something to look forward to for the people without yet another price tag!

It seems obvious that any revenue gained by the council from such parking charges will be quickly offset by losses caused by businesses closing.. as they surely will of this goes ahead.

It is disgusting that charging is in place for a rare family friendly public place at all, let alone along the streets as well. The only free parking will be the ridiculously over-subscribed disabled spaces. There will be nowhere left in Barry that is free to go for already hard hit families.

Please Re-consider these plans as putting in parking charges will certainly have a huge impact not only on local businesses but on those wishing to visit these recreational areas on a regular basis.

This will mean that local residents will not be able to visit the island and will kill off the local traders
