I was only made aware of this petition by our MP and I was unaware of ipetitions. More aware of change.org following the Clarkson petition, perhaps that might be another place for a petiotn that might gain a higher profile

As a matter of principle I now only shop in Livingston when I have to whereas before I would go to browse even if I didn't need anything.

it cost me £1.50 yesterday to buy something which cost £6, then i pot £1.30 in the vending machine and got nothing out

Why should people be charged to shop in Livingston I will be looking at other shoping centres in teh future to shop a. The cahrges just keep creeping up it is almost chepaer to get the train to Edinbugh

Shocking system. These practices in the long term only harm trade and the local economy as people will chose to spend their money where they are not penalised for parking where they chose to shop.
