SCOTTSDALE HEIGHTS OPPOSITION FROM TERRAVITA

Please no high density , affordable housing, that are 28 feet high and may eventually be rental units across from our community.

I am against the development of this project, and respectfully ask that the City of Scottsdale honor the rights and opinions of the tax paying land owners of North Scottsdale and Terravita.

I am opposed to this project and variances, rejoining or any zoning changes or allowances that would result in this moving forward.

I am opposed to Scottsdale Heights across from Terravita on Scottsdale RD & Dove Valley in Scottsdale, Az

This proposed development is not appropriate for the area. Please do NOT rezone!

I do not want low income affordable housing in my area.

I do not want such a housing development in my neighborhood.

The proposed project detracts from this areas lifestyle.

Whatever happened to the General Plan edition that PROMISED very low density residential zoning between the northern boundary of Scottsdale and Greyhawk? Mayor Lane and Council are succumbing to big money, special interests. I say NIMBY on this.

28foot height will obscure the beautiful mountain views from Terravita just as the condos betweenThomsonPeak and the 101 have eliminated the view of the Mc Dowell mountains

The density of this project, along with the height and multi-family nature (duplex) is not in keeping with the overall neighborhood of Northern Scottsdale. As residents of Terravita for more than 11 years, we made a conscious decision to move into a neighborhood that wasn't near developments with density such as proposed by the applicant. The proposed project requires a change in zoning which we strongly ask you to deny. The proposed construction height of 28 feet coupled with the box like architecture would give this the appearance of a jailhouse complex as opposed to the idelic setting in which we live. The impact that the traffic will have on the intersection of Scottsdale Road and Dove Valley would be hazardous to say the least. Thank you for your time. Mark and Barbara Campbell

I oppose this development because I think it will have a huge impact on traffic. Dove Valley Road is not made to withstand this increase in traffic. Furthermore, the density of the proposed housing development is unsuitable for the surrounding communities. It will present a traffic nightmare.

Too many units per acre, total traffic issue and elevations of proposed buildings are too high.

This development is not consistent with the beauty of our desert environment.

The proposed development density is far larger and the proposed heights will create intrusion into the environment that is totally out of place with our current natural setting. The proposed development would fit better in an urban setting than the strict non-urban guidelines that have been followed in this area for the last two decades.

This proposed project is not within the developed character of the existing neighborhood!
