Politicians have never been in the front line as was Deputy Pine. His widow and family deserve the recognition of his sacrifice through fair payment of his salary to them.

Please pass this bill. The families of all Law Enforcement Officers that give their lives in the Line of Duty deserve to receive their FULL pensions.

We need to honor those who serve our community and nation. Give his family the pension money they deserve.

Ridiculous for not taking care of LEO Families, they live the job and sit at home not knowing what's going on. They are the back bone of LEO! Take care of them.

These brave men and women put their lives at risk everyday for us and our loved ones. How can we not protect theirs if something happens to them in the line of duty? The current law is disgraceful. We must honor our emergency responders and their families.

It is already a tragedy our true public heros are underpaid and underappreciated. How sad is it their families continue to suffer by not being allowed their full benefits after giving the ultimate of sacrifices.
