I strongly believe that all of the loved ones who have been put through a tragedy such as this one should be fully compensated for their loss. Its not much to replace the love of their life but it'll alleviate any financial worries.

My son Officer Charles R Kondek Jr. was shot and killed EOW 12/21/2014. Officers that make the ultimate deserve as much benefits for their families as possible.

This is standard with LA COUNTY SHERIFF Dept. It should be for every law enforcement officers family

It is our obligation to care for our fallen Law informant officers families, they serve too as their loved one puts his life on the line for the community.

Absolutely! LEO's spouses killed in the line of duty should already be receiving their salary, plus all expenses paid for the funeral, etc.

Shouldn't have to be a petition for this, it should be the law!
