It’s not even fair .. there was players using this feature for many months and now when it’s turn for others to use it they just take it out

Without faction locks causes serious issues even with having access to all officers and being able to level them efficiently which has a massive negative impact on the game

This should be reversed because several people have had all 3 locked and have all 3 types faction ships at their disposal. This is unfair to those of us who have been working for the same goals, that will now never be able to have all 3 types of faction ships. Giving those that already have them an unfair advantage. By taking away the locked rep we will never be able to have more than 2 types of fac ships.

Correct way of doing it is to introduce milestones.
10M could be one. Once past - you can't drop back below

I ask that they lower the reputation faction lock back down to 10M. I recently started playing after quitting for 6 months and I got back into trying my hardest to get faction lock at 10M. I've been spending as much rss to complete the daily faction rep event and in a month and half I gained 4M faction rep points. Currently i am at 7.8M and I was really hoping to try out other factions, but if the new faction lock is at 1B I wouldnt get any other ships but fed even then it would take me longer to just to get to 30M after reaching 10M. I wanted to experience this game to the fullest by opening up another faction and new faction missions that I cant complete without ruining my already hard earned fed rep. Please roll back the faction reputation changes and bring back the 10M lock.

For months, Scopely had made it a goal to get to 10M reputation and get triple Respected. Then, without ANY warning, they don't just move the goalposts, but they totally change what people are working for with faction rep. When I saw my two reps drop below 10M, I honestly stopped and said "I don't know what I'm doing in this game anymore"

Making changes like the ones that keep happening when so many people have paid for boosts and items in game is a tricky slope that Scopely continues to fail at. A simple solution is to grandfather or revalue prior purchases to keep them relevant.
This is an insult to loyal players.
