PLEASE BAN THIS STUFF. The so-called scooter corrals are a joke, as people leave them wherever they need to. This is public land being used by private companies! Sidewalks are often blocked, red zones needed for safety clearance are now blocked by scooter corrals, and the users break every law by riding on sidewalks, through stopsigns and stoplights, down the middle of busy highways. Need I say more? Accidents are increasing

Get rid of them ! They are a danger to the riders and they are a danger to the people on the street and those walking on the sidewalk. Nobody follows the laws and the companies that own the scooters don’t care. Furthermore they clog up the beauty of La Jolla

They are an insult to our community. We as residents certainly are entitled to better respect.

They are unsafe! It is a disaster for pedestrians, cars, and life threatening for the scooter drivers themselves. The tragedies and lawsuits will be never ending.

A safety hazard for users, pedestrians, and vehicles. Scooters are worse than trash leaving a blight on our community.

They are a major public safety hazard and must be eliminated. It is not safe to walk on any sidewalk in SD!

This is an unregulated menace that endangers everyone. Why is it displayed on the foot board of these vehicles, do not operate on sidewalks? Yet that's where they are "thrown" and operated! OR, they blast through the streets without helmet, OR license! This is serious, dangerous and benefits only a select few ( tourist da, and big corps worse! THEY HAVE TO GO OR AT LEAST STRICTLY REGULATED AND ENFORCED. THESE THINGS ARE A SERIOUS DANGEROUS JOKE. And the locals as usual, are the dupes!

Living in La Jolla Shores with scooters strewn over all our side walks it is a eyesore and unsafe for those that use the walk ways. What a mess!

Ban scooters and dockless bikes as they are left thrown on sidewalks and walkways and block access for wheelchairs and walkers used by people with injuries, they are left on private property and cause damage to vegetation and beach land and water, riders do not follow rules by having passengers and underage riders do not wear helmets, and the abandoned devices are not picked up in a timely matter.

They are a scourge on our city and community. They are entertainment devices not transportation. they are ridden unsafely and dropped off irresponsibly. They risk the future health of users by eliminating their exercise, thereby becoming a public health risk.
