1 company would be fine but San Diego has allowed double digits. The scooters look more like discarded garbage then means of conveyance.

I support common sense regulation of scooters and I believe they can play an effective role in the mobility network; however, the rough and tumble, unsafe and disruptive way they were rolled out in our community in Pacific Beach (if not elsewhere) demonstrates to me that the scooter companies have not yet earned the privilege to operate in our community. I support a moratorium on them until commonsense regulations are in place.
