Pacific Beach is a small community and people can walk everywhere. Get rid of the scooters.

It has become very obvious that the scooter companies cannot control their customers’ dangerous use of scooters including riding on sidewalks, double riding, allowing their 10 year old children to ride them and parking them illegally. Ban the scooters now!

Unfortunately, it is largely the bad behavior too many of the people who rent and ride these scooters who cause the problems. I don't see the level of enforcement needed to change this behavior happening so I don't see a solution other than the ban.

Get rid of this blight. Stop falling for the nonsense that they improve environmental concerns. They are being used primarily for recreation, not for transportation to jobs and for errands.

The so-called environmental benefits of these scooters are such BS. They are garbage waiting to fill up the landfill.

If there is not the ability to enforce laws and protect citizens, then they need to ban all motorized vehicles (except ADA motorized wheelchairs) from sidewalks and boardwalks.
