We the students of the University of Guelph Humber agree that the professor of the Quantitative Methods in Business course section 2, on Thursday afternoons at 3:20PM has inadequately provided students with a proper learning environment. The professor has failed to meet the academic needs that his students rightfully deserve and expect from this institution. This is the opinions, and views of the students which have been expressed by their own consent.

We have noticed that our professor is frequently confused about the material being taught. He often requires assistance from students to operate the internet, and Microsoft Excel which are vital components of this course. He has failed to provide adequate instructions on how to perform assignments. He has given little to no instruction on our midterm examination, nor did he provide an examination outline. He has also degraded students for using school resources, specifically the math centre to achieve a better understanding of the assignments. The professor distributed assignments that in our opinion, appear to be much more difficult than the other sections. Additionally, the professor has taken away class time by threatening to leave the lecture after a verbal confrontation with 2 students. Throughout the exchanges listed above, our understanding of the quantitative analysis material has been significantly affected because students are uncomfortable asking questions. They are concerned they will be shamed in front of peers.

We feel uncomfortable with the lack of professionalism our professor has shown us through the past 7 weeks. We ask that the executives of the University of Guelph Humber take immediate action in resolving this issue, as our education is suffering. We appreciate the support from the University of Guelph Humber, and the Business program community.
