I highly doubt any parent recommended sky blue trim??? Not practical in any way, also navy blue light blue with grey bottoms?? Who came up with this I think you need to get someone who understands fashion to design the uniform!! I think it’ll look horrendous!

Please no ties. I know the kids voted for them but really don’t think they inderstand what a tie is. Fair enough at senior level but not infant and junior.

Strongly against ties for the children. Very worried about associated risks with these. Keep them for high school! Just another item of clothing to get lost, won't it also be a pain for teachers/TAs after PE lessons as well, especially with the younger children.

Im signing because I don't agree with the jumpers, just a plain colour is easier and cheaper for parents who are on lower funds

My child is constantly getting drawn on by other kids .. I will not keep replacing uniform like I do now so he will look messy I'm afraid and tie's are not a good idea a boy had my child in a choke hold the other day and I had to tell him to get off imagine how bad it will be with a TIE!!

Single colour can be brought from many places and for much less than the proposed suppliers will be charging just for the sake of a “trim” in a different colour - I am wholly against a tie for any age - it’s a “primary” school not a secondary one. Some children grow faster than others and would require new jumpers more often - the proposed suppliers are charging approximately £13.95 for a jumper - the school NEEDS to rethink the change and NOT ignore the results of the questionnaire!

Dual colour jumper is not practical with multiple children and high likelihood of them getting lost, ripped etc. Ties and button down shirts for tiniest ones is crazy

I refuse to put a tie on my kids, if it come to it then a will buy a clip on, but there's no way in hell I'll put a noose round my child's neck....

The militaristic historical symbolism of the tie and the cultural appropriation associated with it is offensive to our religion of the Jedi order, our children are not your livestock to brand as you see fit.
This coupled with your elite overpriced sweatshop jumpers only available from your mates kickback shack single source is illegal protectionism under EU laws
Your efforts to subdue our children into group think to quash their creative individuality are now exposed.
Perhaps you should focus your planning sessions on making the lessons more interesting and diverse if you want their attention and good behaviour.
Rather than trying to stifle their personalities and energy by reducing the blood flow to their brains with your post industrial education nooses!!

I accept the uniform is great for year 6s, but reception, 1 and 2 are not going to cope with ties.
Can you imagine the upset and stress at pe time????

My daughter struggles getting shoes on the right feet let alone a tie! It is very inconsiderate of the school considering the questionnaire that they asked us to fill in with out thoughts. I even put a comment on mine suggesting it needs to be easily available to families and cost efficient.

As a teacher with ten years experience, I have never found a specific and elitist uniform to be beneficial in the education, well being and nurturing of young people. However, working with parents who do not feel strained, alienated and worn out is incredibly beneficial. Keeping the School uniform as is would be one way to help parents feel slightly less stressed and result in happier learners

Small children need to feel comfortable at school. Parents need to be able to send them in looking 'uniform' with the minimum of effort, expense or inconvenience. We all live life at a fast pace, a majority of workers now dress in smart casual wear which is comfortable, easily laundered and suitable for the year 2019.
The proposal to put small children in this awkward uniform that hails back to the 1950s is not well considered.
Ties amongst 5 year olds are just a recipe for disaster. The scenarios I could outline for a risk assessment are numerous.
Expensive uniforms lead to money issues for all but the wealthiest families.
I suggest you look at 21st century, comfortable, accessible, inexpensive uniforms.
