I will NOT have my daughter wear a tie. They are simply too dangerous to those who does not understand the danger that it brings and the consequences it can cause. Ive seen pupils pull on eachothers ties and the children unable to undo them, this was in a highschool.

Please reconsider the uniform! Totally unsuitable and not a practical choice for the younger years. What’s wrong with a polo top and smart jumper? Let them be kids. And as for the Ties.... (clip on or not) maybe for year 6 as the head of the school. They will be a waste of time. They will easily get lost and it will waste valuable learning time by teachers having to help the children do their shirt and ties after PE etc. I will not be sending my 4 year old little girl in a shirt and tie.

Not impressed that my 4 year old little girl will have to wear and shirt and tie.... its primary school , its suppose to be fun/comfy and i feel this type of uniform distract the children... PE will be a nightmare and ties even if clip on are a hazzard.... why ask our opinion if it is going to be ignored ....

I really dont agree with young children wearing ties, shirts. They look smart in the style of uniform they already wear. This is not high school.

I'm signing the petition as I dont think infant children should have to wear a tie it poses to much of a risk! Also what's wrong with black trousers why is it being changed to grey, white shirts too my son struggles with fine motor skills so shirts are going to be awful for him, it's a primary school not a high school children should be comfortable in what they are wearing.

The current Costessey junior school uniform in my opinion is already smart and suits the needs of all children. I don’t know any child who can do a tie at the age of 4 and also with the teachers wanting them to undress and dress after PE. Also buttons on a shirt or a blouse will cause delays when changing for PE with more need for the teacher and assistant to support the children in an environment where they don’t have enough time for the children anyway. The polo shirts currently worn are perfect. Also just to add my daughter was strangled by a boy on the last day before the Easter break and this was without a tie. Can you imagine what issues the tie is going to cause?

I agree wholeheartedly that limiting the supply of uniform to one outlet it is not in the interest of child or parent but done for purely financial gain and should not be implemented.

Totally ridiculous uniform choice! Ties for ages 4 plus are a danger (terrifying thinking that the little kids would be playing on that new trim trail in a tie) add that to a button up shirt, triple the changing time after PE. Very expensive, uniforms should be affordable and easily replaceable, as we all know kids lose stuff and have things taken at school frequently, esp at the younger ages. Hopefully those making the decision will come to their senses, as I can't see many parents going along with this.

Navy with blue trim..... I am very doubtful that parents even knew this option existed!! I would love to see those forms.... totally pointless filling then in.... the school had decided exactly what the uniform was going to be! Surely with a decision like this an open evening would have been more productive!!! Ties.... maybe for year 6 as the head of the school But to waste valuable learning time by teachers doing them up on every child after p.e.... what bright spark came up with that one!!!
